Here's a series of shots from today, taken at the Firehouse Shelter in downtown Bham. Shot it for Portico but am thinking
of doing a series of followups, or continuing it and making a personal project of sorts. Very interesting people and by that I mean that these homeless men and women, who have lives filled with such struggle/pain, seemed to have an amazing outlook on life, at least most of the ones I spoke with. Many said how lucky they are to still be here, still be alive and that they appreciate what they have, even if it's not much.

Honestly, I was inspired by these people and plan to go back a few more times over the next month or so, so stay tuned.
