Just a couple of shots from Paris.....not shooting as much digital this time around because of my newest toy, the Voigtlander Bessa (film not digi), a rangefinder camera that I find perfect for street shooting. Oh yeah, and I have booked my ticket to Dubrovnik, Croatia.....ahhh a week in paradise. Sounds like a good idea to me.

Bama...

Well it's been a month since my last post and a lot has happened since then. Here is the abbreviated version.
To begin with, the month of March was perfect in Fontainebleau....I counted maybe five days of rain . Needless to say, I climbed as much as my body would allow. At the end of March, I flew home for a weekend so I could see my dad get married (congrats!)...and a week ago, the Brits (John Barr/Anne and friends) came to Font. So...the last month has been very interesting, very memorable.
I guess you could say a new chapter begins today, for I am no longer in Fontainebleau. That's right, after more than 80 days in the forest I am back in Paris. No more gite, no more Peugeot, no more Fontainebleau :(
It's all good though, check out my schedule for the rest of my trip....
Today-April 19, Paris
April 19-28, U.k./gritstone bouldering, chillin with John and Anne, London
April 28-May3, ROME
May 3-May 6, Florence
May 6-?, Budapest
.....not too bad, eh? I will probably be in Budapest till around the 11th or 12th of May, and then..? Not sure yet. I fly out of Prague on May 27, so I'll obviously be there at some point. Before I go to Prague I've decided I'm going to spend a week, maybe two, in Croatia.
Yeah I know, sounded intriguing to me too. My main destination in Croatia will be Dubrovnik, s small city on the Adriatic Sea. I had never heard of Dubrovnik and I definitely hadn't planned on going but after reading through an Easter Europe guide-book and seeing a couple of pics I was sold.
The following didn't hurt; Dubrovnik--"Paradise on earth"-George Bernard Shaw
"The pearl of the Adriatic"- Lord Byron

Okay, well I am sick of typing and the wine isn't helping matters ( i feel like i'm "over-punctuating'') ,so here are a couple of pics from the past month..Expect lots of Paris pics this week..
Over-and-out.
